Good evening
I have just returned from the LCR dissolution congress when we are on the
brink of launching a new party. It is a shame to come back to this.

The first mails came out during the day and I read them on the computer at
school. They made me very depressed and my first reaction was to ask not to
be on the Palestine seminar list any more.

The method of discussion is horrible and as a member of the Bureau and its
secretariat I am personally insulted. This is not however new, I first
experienced this last summer when by chance I met Chris Den Hond and told
him what had been decided at the Bureau. This was met with oral insults.

To reiterate what I and Leon have said. The decison of the Bureau was that
the discussion called by some ³on political Islam² should be on ³Hamas and
Islamic Jihad² so we knew specifically what was being discussed. And that we
wouldn¹t invite other political currents, that it was an ³internal FI
seminar² in a political sense. It was asked and specifically stated that for
example that Sinistra Critica or npa members not in the FI could be invited
and subsequently I have had several times to clarify this comrades to whom
Chris Den Hond has recounted his distorted version of the decisions
(although he wasn¹t present).

The Bureau consists of some dozen members elected by the IC and its
secretariat of five. I don¹t know what is the criticism meant by ³nebluous²,
there are five elected members. What is the disfunctining you¹d like to
discuss?
