Moi aussi je suis d'accord à garder une forme de coordination entre ceux et
celles qui ont participé au seminaire du 2009. Pour les raison qui ont dit

This is my proposal but not in the present form but like the other FI lists
which don’t suffer from spam (although something called Palestine, Middle
East or whatever is much more likely to be the target of that of course)
because they have a different level of protection. 
The it would be managed not by the IIRE but by the comrades in charge of the
work.

I would feel sorry if that list was to be closed, especially when the
Middle-East is the only area in the world where revolutions are ongoing, it
is true it's a shame this list is not used as it should be, (I've not given
up the hope that one day there will be a follow up of the 2009 seminary, at
least before Palestine ceases to exist) 
but all the suscribers are not members of the bureau of the Fourth, though
very active in the support and debate over those revolutions, so why don't
we turn it into a list of the comrades involved in the solidarity with the
uprisings in the ME; I'm sure it could help us all in our analyses, 
all the best

The IIRE Educational Subcommittee recently discussed the possibility of
holding another Palestine seminar - which I believe could definitely be
useful - and it was agreed that the Bureau will discuss the idea at its next
meeting. So I'd propose keeping this list alive for now until we know if
another seminar is planned. Then we could see what the best way is to deal
with all the spam, OK?
